Rodents4U was founded in 2006 as a hobby, basically to feed our 200 Ball Pythons. We really enjoy breeding the rodents and work hard to produce clean and very healthy animals.
       We feed only High fat Lab Block that is a blend of quality grains that are essential for the rodents health. Keeping the rodents clean and avoiding over crowding is essential to keeping a colony health and productive. We are still learning every day about breeding these unique animals, techniques that work and ones that don’t!
       We designed and built our own breeding racks to control costs. The buildings are kept at a constant 70 degrees year around and the racks are designed to eliminate drafts inside the living environment of the rodents. Humidity is kept low so fecal matter dries quickly and helps keep everything cleaner. The rodents are provided with a constant cycle of 12 hours of light and 12 of dark all ran by timers.
       Fresh air is provided at all times by a 18 inch 1700rpm exhaust fan that is placed in the middle of the building to allow air flow from both ends of building for equal air flow and exchange.
